We are looking for additional volunteers for the Okoboji and Arnolds Park Routes. The meals are ready to be picked up at the Lakes Regional Healthcare kitchen around 11:15. It takes about 30 to 45 minutes to complete the route.

There are several individuals of all ages in need of transportation assistance to medical or approved appointments. Volunteers are reimbursed at .34 a mile for out of town trips and are covered by an insurance policy above and beyond your own.

Volunteers are needed to assist elementary students with reading and math. Volunteers work with individual students or small groups. Volunteers are also needed to read to Head Start students periodically.

Greet visitors at sites such as Abbie Gardner Sharp Cabin and Rock 'N Roll Hall of Fame, and The Welcome Center.

Thee Garage Sale and ReNew are looking for volunteers to move donated furniture and household items.

Volunteers will assist the Alzheimer's Association by providing relief to the caregiver of a frail and/or elderly person age 60 or over that has a dementia related disease. Volunteers can visit 2 to 4 hours once or twice a month.

The Dickinson County Nature Center and the Dickinson County Community Garden are in need of individuals with green thumbs to assist with garden maintenance.

Volunteers are needed to help prepare newsletter mailings for various non-profit organizations throughout Dickinson County.
